I could not for the life of me think about a song that I could use as an inspiration for my nails.. I happened to have a set of
Nested Basic Shapes Nail Guides on my desk and wanted to use the stars.. so I began my search for a song that had something to do with stars! I did this whole thinking process backwards, but it worked :) I landed on
OneRepublic - Counting Stars.
I started by painting my nails with three thin coats of
Beyond the Nail - Star Cluster. When it was completely dry, I placed some
Nested Basic Shapes Nail Guides over my nails and painted over it with
Beyond the Nail's Neon Blue & Rouge. (The neon blue was from an old batch that isn't so
neon... & it basically changed the shade when putting it over the other polish). I immedietly peeled away the nail guides and topped everything off with one layer of
PRO-FX - Quick Dry Topcoat.
