Vine Vera Skincare Review

Taking care of your skin, nails, & hair should be a priority for everyone. Vine Vera sent me their Manicure Set ($56.00) which will help my hands and nails look amazing all year round. The kit includes a Hand & Body Lotion, Cuticle Oil, Nail File & a Nail Buffer.

I have gel nails, so I wasn't able to use the buffer on them. The nail file wasn't strong enough to file my nails either, so to try these products out and get a good idea on how they work, I gave my boyfriend a mini manicure ;)

I started by using the nail file, which doesn't have the highest grit so I had a hard time filing down his nails (he has really thick nails so that doesn't help). I then used the Nail Buffer which did an amazing job! It made his nails super shiny and smooth. It looked like he had clear nail polish on haha! Afterwards, I followed up by using the cuticle oil on & around his nails and massaged it in. I used some of the Hand & Body Lotion on his hands, but I found it to be really greasy. It took a while for it to soak into his skin, which he mentioned that he didn't like. But after a while when everything was dry, his nails & hands looked and felt way better.

I also received Vine Vera's Resveratrol Merlot Travel Kit ($68.00), which is a Day & Night Cream. Both of these creams are said to be "rich, yet lightweight", but I found the night cream to be on the thick side. I started using these products with the night cream, and then the day cream the next morning. I didn't have a problem with the night cream being a bit thick at first because I figured it would soak into my skin over night. About 30 minutes after applying, I noticed that it didn't get soaked into my skin and I had to rub it in again. My face looked super greasy, but I left it over night and my skin was fine in the morning. I applied the day cream before applying my makeup, and it worked great. My face wasn't greasy and it soaked in quickly.
