Hi everyone! Today I have a new brand (to me) to share with you all - HASK: Keratin Protein.
I received these products in exchange for my honest review through BrandBacker.
As I always mention, I over process my hair with dying it and styling it. I try to give my hair a break every so often by leaving it natural, but it is frizzy so I have to at least put in some sort of styling product. This is where HASK comes into discussion. It's made with Keratin Protein, which is what our hair, skin, and nails are made of. Keratin revives, restores, calms, and strengthens hair due to styling and humidity.
I received their Keratin Smoothing Shampoo & Conditioner, Keratin Smoothing Deep Conditioner, and their Keratin Smoothing Shine Treatment. All four of these products are free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, gluten, drying alcohol and artificial colors.
The shampoo and conditioner smelled amazing! I'm not sure if all shampoo's that are keratin based (or oil based) don't lather up as much as other shampoo's or not, but this one took a lot of product to work up to a nice lather. I also had to shampoo twice to make sure my hair was really clean. I have used other oil based products, and I know after shampooing, my hair doesn't really feel clean, but it's left with an oily, weighted feel. However, after using the conditioner, my hair felt super soft. After blow drying, and following up with the Keratin Smoothing Shine Treatment, my hair was so soft. Even after straightening my hair, my hair even looked shinier.
I would need to try this out a couple more times, but I feel like it's a good product, and is really helpful for us girls who are constantly over styling their hair.
