Laneige - Water Sleeping Mask Review

Hi everyone! Have you ever heard of the Korean skincare brand Laneige? Their products are all water based and are aimed at giving your skin the hydration it needs. They have "researched for over 20 years and have unleashed scientifically-engineered, skin-perfecting mineral water clinically proven to hydrate, protect and revitalize individual skin types. The result: 24-hour hydration and protection against sun, pollution and stress. Through its mastery of the science of water, LANEIGE brings skincare to a new level of excellence".

I was sent Laneige's Water Sleeping Mask which is an overnight revitalizing gel mask. It is infused with Orange Flower, Rose and Sandalwood. It also features a brightening anti-oxidant Hunza Apricot Extract, and Retexturizing Chestnut Extract.

After washing my face, I scooped out some of the gel mask onto my fingers using the little plastic spatula that was provided in the package. I applied it evenly across my whole face. It took about 10 minutes to fully absorb into my skin. I was sure not to fall asleep for at least 30 minutes so my pillow case didn't soak it up! When I woke up the next morning, I washed my face to remove any leftover residue, and applied moisturizer. My skin definitely looked hydrated and more plump.

The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the scent. Although it smells wonderful, I am prone to headaches with a lot of scents. I would prefer this to come unscented. Otherwise, I think the product is great and I will definitely continue to use it!
