Face of the Day


I feel like I should add some more "topics" to my blog, so every so often I'm going to show you guys my "Face of the Day". I'm trying to get more into makeup, since my look is pretty much always the same.

For my face I used my BeautyBlender to apply my Maybelline's Fit Me Foundation (Matte + Poreless) in Shade 120 (Classic Ivory), and their Fit Me Concealer in Shade 10 (light). 

For my eyes, I used Nyx's Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk for my waterline. I used Inglot's AMC Eyeliner Gel in Shade 77 (black). I usually use at least 3 mascara's to achieve full and long lashes. I started with Maybelline's Lash Sensational Mascara in Blackest Black to separate and lengthen my lashes. I followed it with Maybelline's Volum'Express Colossal Chaotic Mascara in Blackest Black to get some volume on my lashes. I usually follow up with a third mascara to pack on the volume and thicken up my lashes so they stand out. I chose Essence's I <3 Extreme Volume Mascara for this because the brush is really big and adds on a ton of mascara. I need to use a light hand with this or my lashes will be super chunky! 

On my lips, I used ColourPop's Ultra Matte Lip in Solow.

I finished off my look by filling in my brows with Essence's Eyebrow Designer in 04 Blonde, and adding a touch of blush to my cheeks using Pandora's Makeup Box Blush in St. Tropez. I also went all over my face with Nyx's Studio Finishing Powder.

This was the first time I tried using a white eyeliner on my waterline (I usually use a black liner). I feel like I look like a doll!  

What do you guys think - should I do more Face of the Day posts? I will probably do it sporadically and when I've done something different with my makeup.
