Arbonne Review: Smoothed Over Lipsticks & Lip Liners

Have any of you ever tried products from Arbonne? I've never tried any of their products before so I was really interested in getting my hands on some. Arbonne sells their products through independent consultants (like Mary Kay, Rodan + Fields, etc) or can be bought of their website. All of Arbonne’s Smoothed Over lipsticks have a moisturizing formula that gives a smooth, satin glossy finish. They are all dermatologist-tested, hypoallergenic, vegan, and formulated without gluten or parabens.

Arbonne’s Lip Liners are used to extend the wear of lip gloss and lipstick by creating a barrier along the outer edge of your lips. They also help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

I received four of their Smoothed Over Lipsticks in Magnolia, Camellia, Terra, & Willow. I was also sent two of their Lip Liners in Peach and Tulip.

Magnolia applied with a sheer coverage and has a nude appearance. It almost goes on a bit streaky, but since it’s a moisturizing lipstick, it was easy enough to go over without ruining the look. This lipstick would be great for an everyday subtle look.

Camellia applied easily with a sheer coverage, but was buildable. Since it has a satin, glossy finish, it didn’t last very long before needing reapplication. The colour was very bright and made me feel like Barbie.

Willow applied easily and although it had sheer coverage, it was easily buildable and had great formula. The colour goes well with my skin tone and I could see this being worn all year round.

Terra applied with a sheer coverage, but left a bit of streakiness. The colour was much different than I had seen online, and might not be a colour I could get a lot of use out of. It doesn’t go well with my skin tone.

Peach is a very light lip liner which is perfect when using nude lipsticks.
I swatched it below all over my lips to show how it can look as an overall matte lip.

Tulip is a very sheer berry lip liner which is actually quite nice as an all over lipstick. It has a shimmer to it when applied.
I swatched it below all over my lips.

Overall, these moisturizing lipsticks look great on, but I don’t see them lasting a long time on my lips. I don’t think I would buy them in the future – only because they were so sheer and I would need to reapply them very often.
