My December Barkbox and an Ice Storm?!

Christmas came early for my puppy Windsor! It's his first Christmas, and there is actually snow already. Usually we don't get that much snow until the new year, so I was actually happy to see some so soon. Unfortunately, with the arrival of snow, a snow day and an ice storm wasn't far behind! I've never seen an ice storm before so this is definitely cool to see :) It just sucks because all these trees are breaking from the ice :(

This morning I woke up to Windsor's second BarkBox in the mail. It only takes a week to get to me from USA, and I was even surprised to get it during a week now because it's Christmas and it's usually super busy. Thankfully it came today, so now Windsor can get some goodies for Christmas :)

If you recall in my first post about BarkBox (see here), it's a monthly box that you get in the mail filled with goodies for your dog. The boxes include 4 or more products every month that range from toys, bones, hygiene products, etc. What's also great is that they donate 10% of their profits to shelters, rescues and animal welfare organizations!
I bought a 3 month subscription, which cost me $72 plus $5 shipping (for each month & only because I live in Canada). It ended up being $29 a month for the box. It seems like a lot of money, but I figured that if I bought all these items separately, it would cost more, and I wouldn't get to try out these awesome treats and toys! If you subscribe for more months, you end up saving money too!
