Hey everyone! Last week, my sister and I opened our new etsy shop called
Beyond the Nail (click
HERE to see it!)
and I made a
nail set that has gotten a request for a tutorial. I hope you enjoy this! & if any of you recreate this look, please send me a link in the comments, I'd love to see them :)
Note: Since these are apart of my new etsy line, I've branded it with the Beyond the Nail logo.
STEP ONE:
Gather all the supplies that you need:
- A solid black nail polish (for my nails, I used Black Taxi by Nails Inc)
- A clear topcoat (I used Freedom Polymer Top Coat by Julep)
- An orange wood stick (or toothpick or dotting tool)
- Caviar nail microbeads (I used some sold on my etsy shop)
- Nail studs
- Optional: a blank nail set or your own nails!
STEP TWO:
Paint your nails with two coats of black nail polish.
STEP THREE:
When completely dry, paint one nail with your top coat (you will be doing one nail at a time).
STEP FOUR:
Dip your orange wood stick in some top coat so it can pick up a caviar nail microbead. Place the microbeads onto your nails one at a time while the topcoat on your nails is still wet.
This is where your imagination steps in: Design each nail with a different design!
STEP FIVE:
Repeat steps 3 & 4: Move onto your other nails. Paint the next
one with top coat, and use your microbeads or nail studs to finish off
your look.
