Turquoise Stone Nail Art

I really loved my beachnails that I did a couple of weeks ago, so I decided to try the same techniques out again with a turquoise stone look. It didn’t turn out exactly like I wanted it to, but it’s not bad either.

I started by painting each nail with two thin coats of Beyond the Nail – Crème de Menthe. When it dried, I got a piece of saran wrap and bundled it together to form a messy “ball”. I dipped it into Beyond the Nail – Angel and lightly dabbed it over each nail. I painted around each nail with NailExperiments – Easy Peel Latex Barrier so that the next step was an easy cleanup. In a cup filled with water, I added drops of Beyond the Nail – Deep Black and sprayed over it with alcohol to separate the polish. It didn’t separate as much as I’d like, but I continued with the watermarble technique. I dipped each finger into the splattered looking nail polish, then took my finger out and removed the latex barrier. I added one coat of PRO-FX – Quick Dry Topcoat to each nail & voila!
