I am a strong believer in exfoliating your skin. I was really interested when I saw the
Le Edge - a hygienic personal exfoliating tool. It's a straight smooth blade (not sharp!) that you glide against your skin and it removes dead skin cells and debris with ease. It's also said to help exfoliate before shaving and waxing, as well as prepping your skin before tanning.
The Le Edge works best on wet skin, so I took mine with me in the shower. I had looked at other reviews online prior to using it to make sure I knew how to use it correctly and to see what to expect. I ran it over my legs and arms and actually didn't see or feel any difference. I was disappointed, but then figured that maybe my skin was already exfoliated from using sugar scrubs previously.
I did, however, find success in using this on my feet! The heels of both my feet are rough and this nifty tool actually scraped away A LOT of dead skin. It left my feet looking and feeling so soft!
I don't know if this tool would be for everyone, but I did find success in using it on my feet. I wouldn't pay the $45 for it, but then again, if I had found great success with using this all over my body, I might have a different opinion.
