I saw
this gorgeous mani on instagram yesterday and decided to recreate it. Since i'm not good at freehand, I went with a stamped design. It's not identical to
@twi_star's, but it's close!
I started by painted each nail with one coat of
Beyond the Nail - Bright White. While it was drying, I painted a thick coat of
NailExperiments - Easy Peel Latex Barrier around each nail. When both the nail polish and latex barrier were dry, I got a makeup sponge and sponged on a gradient using
Beyond the Nail - Neon Yellow, Neon Green, & Neon Blue. I peeled away the latex barrier immediately after so it was easier to clean up. I feel like if I leave polish to dry on that, it doesn't peel away easily and some pieces get stuck to my cuticle.
I then painted
another coat of
Easy Peel Latex Barrier around each nail because I began stamping! I got
Bundle Monster - Stamping Plate BM-605 and stamped on a tribal looking triangle & striped design over each nail using
Beyond the Nail - Deep Black. I peeled away the latex barrier and cleaned up any spots that the latex barrier didn't protect.
I topped off each nail with one coat of PRO-FX - Quick Dry Topcoat and I was good to go! I love this design so much, I did this one every nail and wore it to work. I thought it looked kind of ghetto or too much.. but everyone seemed to like it!
