Pure Colors HD - White Out Contacts Review (+ My Halloween Costume)

This year for Halloween I decided to be a Skeleton! I followed some tutorials from Filosophie & CH Beauty. I knew my look would be way better if I had a freaky element to it, so I bought White Out Contacts from VisionPros.ca. They seem to have been only a temporary item because they're not available on their website anymore. Anyways, I got them for $20 plus shipping, and it was the best deal I could find. I was impressed because they arrived within days of ordering!

I have never worn contacts before, so they took me a very long time to put it... 20 minutes to be exact!! It could be 100% my fault and how I was trying to put them in.. but for my first attempt, I didn't think it would be super easy. I wore the contacts for about 6 hours, and I'm not sure if it's because I wasn't used to wearing them or not, but my vision was slightly blurry and my eyes felt really heavy. I couldn't wait to take these off at the end of the night. My friends, who have worn contacts plenty of times before, have said that "costume contacts" are a bit thicker than normal contacts and they have experienced the same thing I did.

My experience buying these off of VisionPros.ca was great. I had to contact customer service to clarify how to buy these because I don't have a prescription and have no experience with contacts. They got back to me quickly, and once I placed my order, they shipped it within 1-2 business days. The contacts themselves were good quality and I might even try to wear them again (but for a much shorter time).

Now onto my costume! I bought my dress from Spirit Halloween, and I did my own makeup using white & black cream makeup from Party City, as well as Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk, and an unnamed Jumbo Black Eye Pencil in Black. I went over my face with Nyx - Studio Finishing Powder and Nyx Primal Colors - Hot Black.
