31DC2015: Day 24 - Inspired by a Book

Today is Day 24 of The 31 Day Nail Art Challenge! Today's challenge is Inspired by a Book.

For this challenge, I was inspired by the children's book The Rainbow Fish.

I started by painting my nails with two coats of Beyond the Nail - Sloteazzy. I placed a Mermaid Nail Guide over each nail and painted in each "scale" with a different polish. I used Beyond the Nail's Holographic Blue Microglitter, Holographic Silver Microglitter, Mint Microglitter, & Holographic Lavender Microglitter. After painting on each polish, I gently removed the nail guide and was left with this awesome scaled manicure! I topped each nail off with two coats of PRO-FX - Quick Dry Topcoat.
