spilledpolish: Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep & Life Serum

I love being able to share these beauty items with you guys! I was recently sent a Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep + Life Serum package from ChickAdvisor in return for my honest review.

When I first got my package, I was so impressed because the packaging was so beautiful! The box for the Life Serum was holographic light pink, & the Sleep Skin has a mirror on the lid, which actually came useful twice in the past week. I think the packaging makes it look very expensive, and which probably helps the brand convince individuals that the high price point is worth it. Each product is worth over $50. I don't think I would pay $50+ for a night cream, unless it was proven to work wonders on my skin.

After using these products for 2 days, my skin seemed moisturized and had a nice glow to it. But after a week, my skin had broken out. I'm not sure if it's because of the Life Serum or not (it has a thicker consistency). I used it under my daily moisturizer/makeup and although it gave my skin a much needed boost, it seemed to build up on my skin and make my foundation very noticeable. I think it might be my skin getting used to the product, so I'm hoping it will get better.

Other than the mini breakout & thick layer under my makeup, I feel like these products will be very beneficial for my skin and I will continue to use it. The price of these products are very high, but for a high quality product, it might be worth it.
