I've been on quite a nail funk lately (& by lately, I mean the past week lol). I've had no real desire to come up with my own ideas for nail art, so I looked on instagram and pinterest for ideas. Even then, I didn't have the real desire to do anything special to my nails. After having them one solid colour for the past week, I decided to push myself to do something different.
We recently put up a bunch of
nail guides in our shop, and they seem to be very popular so I decided to use them again :) I started off by painting my nails (except the ring finger) with two coats of
Zoya - Reagan. For my ring finger, I started off with a thin layer of WHITE GLUE (for super easy removal of my glitter polish). When it was completely dry (it dries clear), I painted two coats of
Beyond the Nail - Silver Holographic Microglitter. When that was dry, I placed two
Chevron Nail Guides and painted over them with the same Zoya polish. Immediately after painting one layer over it, I gently removed each chevron nail guide. When everything was dry, I went over it with
PRO-FX - Quick Dry Topcoat and placed a
Silver Round Nail Stud on each nail.
